I feel the grief, sense the trauma that you and the entire region are going through. Katrina was horrific enough, and now it has come to the financial power center of the world. I can only hope that in this utter tragedy that it serves as a serious wake up call to all of us.
Thank you.Margonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7220556680930682500.post-87155987594861827042012-11-09T22:01:15.276-08:002012-11-09T22:01:15.276-08:00This made me feel what you are going through, I cr...This made me feel what you are going through, I cried, I needed to. It is so hard to feel unable to help all of you, but we need you to share this experience as you have.

Knowing the Climate Change denial has hindered communities to not be ready for disasters of this nature, knowing displaced people need to be relocated and where will they go? Knowing it probably won't get better and no one is ready for what might come next.

Yet I feel better to have heard your voice and can inwardly feel like I am holding your hands by showing up emotionally with the help of your sharing, for starters. I have contacted government offices to plead with them to get Long Island help, I will do more as I can and know what we can do.

You are not alone, we have heard you and we care.Karen Ahernnoreply@blogger.com
